Word to Yo Lama

I heard Raymond Lotta, a political economist and proclaimed Maoist, lecture today. In addition to his vehement vilification of international “misrepresentation” and “distortion” of the historical “reality” of the Cultural Revolution, he also asserted his belief that there must be another revolution in China.

What a nut.

The most interesting thing I heard at the lecture is this:

There will be a two-hour debate tomorrow regarding Tibet between the China Star, the Triangle’s Chinese newspaper, and Professor Gang Yue, chair of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Department of Asian Studies.
